METALLICA + IRON MAIDEN

One for the BIG ROCK FANS to enjoy – your chance to see arguably the biggest 2 Rock Bands in the world play on consecutive days!

With this trip you have the option of seeing both or either one of the bands.

On Friday 15th August  Metallica headline the 2nd day at Pukkelpop Festival in Hassalt in Belgium – it’s the 1st time the band have played here since 1997!

On Saturday 16th August Iron Maiden headline at the Assen TT Racetrack in Northern Holland on the last but one date of their 2008 Soemwhere Back in Time World Tour.

Both shows are outdoor events and all tickets are general admission standing tickets.

The itinerary for the coach package is as follows:

Departing late evening of the 14th August  (Northern Points) , early morning 15th August (Southern points)

In essence,we have 2 coach routes for the trip – one departing from Newcastle coming down the A1 to Leeds and then down the M1 to London.

The second coach will start in Manchester come down the M6 to Birmingham and along the M6 to join the M1 before going round the M25 and down the M20 to Dover.

For your information, Newcastle will be 10pm on the 30th June, Leeds midnight, Manchester 1am, Birmingham 3am, London 5.30am, Dover 7.30am,

We travel down to Dover for the early morning sailing across to Calaiis and onto Antwerp for early afternoon arrival. After check in we’ll transfer across to Hassalt for the Pukkelpop Festival and Metallica live in concert.

After show we return to hotel for 1st nights hotel stay

Saturday 16th August 

Breakfast included in your package.

Departing EARLY after breakfast and driving onto the Assen area for mid afternoon – checking into hotel before transfer to Assen TT racetrack and Iron Maiden live in concert – our second show on the trip!

After show return to hotels for second nights stay.

Sunday 17th August

Breakfast included in your package.

Departing hotels after breakfast to return to Calais for late afternoon / early evening sailing back to Dover and return routes to original points of departure. 

Prices are as follows

Inclusive trip to include coach travel from points listed above / 2 concert tickets (1 for each show). Ferry / local taxes / breakfast / transfers from hotel to concert each night = £299pp.

Price is based on sharing twin/double rooms.

For single rooms please add £70pp

Options – if you only wish to see Iron Maiden show then please deduct £60 from trip price.

If you only want to see Metallica show please deduct £55 from trip price – if this is the case  please indicate clearly when making your booking which show you want to see- otherwise we’ll assume and purchase tickets for both shows on your behalf

Deposit of £130pp for 2 shows or £65pp for 1 show secures places, balance due 6 weeks prior to departure date.

NOTE: Tickets are standing tickets – both events are open air.

Concert Cancellation - in the event of the concert being cancelled due to illness or injury sustained by a member of the band then you may wish not to take the trip. However, most insurance companies will not accept this as a reason for cancellation and will not pay out.
