Arras France 14th / Hassalt Belgium 15th August 2008

One for the BIG Metallica fan to enjoy – seeing your favourite band twice in 2 days! On Thursday 14th August Metallica headline in the central square of Arras in Northern France – we’re as keen as you are to see how a city centre comes to a standstill for a show!

On the following day the band headline the 2nd day at Pukkelpop Festival in Hassalt in Belgium – it’s the 1st time the band have played here since 1997!

Both shows are outdoor events and all tickets are general admission stnading tickets

The itinerary for the coach package is as follows
Departing late evening of the 13th August  (Northern Points), early morning 14th August (Southern points)

In essence,we have 2 coach routes for the trip – one departing from Newcastle coming down the A1 to Leeds and then down the M1 to London.

The second coach will start in Manchester come down the M6 to Birmingham and along the M6 to join the M1 before going round the M25 and down the M20 to Dover.

The pick up points that can be offered are on the coach departure page – note some regional points have surcharges as we utilise National Express to bring you into our main departure point at London.

We’ll take the short ferry crossing from Dover to Calais and travel on to reach our hotels in the Arras area for early afternoon on the 14th August . After checking into our hotels there’ll be a couple of hours spare before we transfer down to the venue for the 1st nights show.

After the concert we will return to hotel for 1 nights stay.

Friday 15th August

Breakfast included in your package.

Departing after breakfast and driving onto Antwerp – our base for our 2nd nights hotel

Check into hotel and then transfer across to Hassalt for 2nd show.

After show return to hotels for second nights stay.

Saturday 16th August

Breakfast included in your package.

Departing Antwerp after breakfast to return to Calais for early afternoon sailing back to Dover and return routes to original points of departure. 

Prices are as follows

Inclusive trip to include coach travel from points listed above / 2 concert tickets (1 for each show). Ferry / local taxes / breakfast / transfers from hotel to concert each night = £299pp.

Price is based on sharing twin/double rooms.

For single rooms please add £70pp

Options – if you only wish to see 1 show then please deduct £65 from trip price – please indicate clearly when making your booking which show you want to see- otherwise we’ll assume and purchase tickets for both shows on your behalf

Deposit of £130pp for 2 shows or £65pp for 1 show secures places, balance due 6 weeks prior to departure date.

NOTE: Tickets are arena floor standing tickets.

Concert Cancellation - in the event of the concert being cancelled due to illness or injury sustained by a member of the band then you may wish not to take the trip. However, most insurance companies will not accept this as a reason for cancellation and will not pay out.
